50 ohms.One of the things that is different in the MkIII preamps is just a lot more output out of the line section, on account of the new regulation and the new bridge supply transformers. It results in about 12 db more output! Plus the dynamic punch is- -unfettered. I'm not sure how else to put it.
If the output of the Super Regs is too low, the preamp is less perky, (not good). So it might be that you have to raise the voltage and in tandem with using some quiet tubes, all will be well.
