That's a very good point, which I will take to heart. It is very easy in this hobby to get cought up in the measurements, schematics, and theoretical concepts. Measurements can be so helpfull and so misleading at the same time. I hope that my posts haven't come across as criticism; if they have then I humbly apologize. That was not my intent.
It has taken quite some time, many other "hifi" purchase mistakes, and alot of fun hobby research to get to this point, where I've discovered the Atmaspheres. Once you've come this far, you don't want to get too excited, and drop another five to ten grand without making sure that the design is completely worked out. If I was independantly wealthy, I could buy everything and just empiricaly settle it. Then I could invite all of you guys over and we could pursue every concievable mix of components and theories as is possiblej, if we felt so inclined.
However, that's not reality, and like the rest of you, I have to read, ask questions, and listen in the constant pursuit of that ultimately joyous celebration we call "music". We simply seek in these electronic forms, the reproduction of that natural miracle; and as long as we can, we will strive to get closer and closer to that goal of achieving a playback system that sounds like real music. If we didn't gravitate towards this end, then we would likely never have come to the OTL Ave. and rest at Atma-sphere's door.
So, again, I apologize if these candid questions and genuine interest and caused anyone offense; but that was never my intent. I got the impression that the whole reason for the articles section, and the AOG website, was exactly for encouraging and fostering the spirit of my inquiries.
