If by biwiring you mean separate runs of speaker wire to the woofer and tweeter, this will not drop the impedence. In theory, biwiring improves the sound by not allowing the bass frequencies to modulate the other frequencies. It is somewhat contraversial, as speaker manufacturers Wilson and Coincident feel with a properly designed crossover it is unnessasary. However if your speakers are wired for it , it's probably the way to go.
Lastly, if your successfully driving your speakers with a SET amp you should have no problems with the S30. Happy listening and welcome aboard.
