The 6SL7s don’t really work out. Their extra gain comes at the expense of a big drop in bandwidth (even with no-cascode), and much-increased microphonics and I think a lot of resolution is lost as well. This is why Ralph does not use them at all.You can try them in V1 and V2 locations without any amplifier changes, but don't mix SL with SX/SN in V1 and V2.
You can also try a SL in the CCS.
A SL does not make sense even trying in the CF section.
