SL7 Gain - Questions for Paul

I too would appreciate a little more gain - without having to add another stage ie preamp.As your working knowledge of operating point pitfalls far exceeds mine,
would you mind specifying the cascode load and CCS tail resistors you used for the SL7 setup.Is the gain high enough ( higher at all?)with the SL7 to delete the cascode.And finally, sound - do they come close to my beloved stocks of 12SX7.If this works for me, maybe I will have a pile of 12SX7 to offer the ASOG.
