The Hiraga design is for 288 large format drivers instead of the 800 & 900 series drivers for the A7. The A5 uses a 500Hz x-over. Only an A7-500 would have that x-over point.In my workshop I have my A5s running on Sonic Impact Super T-amps using cheap old Electro-Voice pro sound electronic crossovers. For that application they are fine, although certainly far from could be achieved.
