High Efficiency Speaker Asylum Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place. |

Has anyone here built one? I have just picked up some Altec 511B horns for cheap and now I can start building my A7's. I want them to sound their best, I have found the Hiraga Xover schematics for these (A5's) and have heard that they are a big step up from the original Xovers which I have the schematics to also but I really would like to build an active Xover for these if this is the best way and even a bigger step up in sound from the Hiraga Xover. If anyone here has built an active for the A7's or may have some info on where I may be able to find the schematics, website, or software where I can build special for these A7's I would greatly appreciate it.Also would there be any better 15" woofer for bass than the Altec 416 or 515 for without giving up the nice mid bass of the A7's? I seen that someone had used the Dayton Pro 15" woofer with excellent result (deeper bass).
