observations re sacd /cd MercuryLP/RCA living stereo

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

After having m Marantz sa11 for a week,I'm making observations about the
cd/sacds I play. Mercury living presence: most are really great on cd.On Sacd I do not see a significant improvement in sound. In CD format they generaly sound better more dynamic , more bass, better sound stage than the RCA living stereo cds. Now the flip: The RCA living stereo in SACD are just amazing/ breathless sound ,super dynamics, everything is better. It is the finest sound I have ever heard. At this point I will buy new RCA living presence SACDs. I have replaced about ten on my RCA living stereo CDs with SACD versions. WELL WELL worth the investment.
As far as the Mercury living presence, I'll not be buying anymore of the SACD versions. Overall sound quality 1. RCA Living Stereo on SACD 2.Mercury living presence CD /Mercury Livng presence SACD (a tie) 3.RCA living stereo CD. Comparisons with Telarc CD/ SACD will be preformed latter.
