Not counting snatches from listening to radio etc., the first time I played a Beatles album from start to end was a few months ago when I bought two Beatles LP - Abbey Road and Let It Be from a record bazaar.I must say I enjoyed both albums, although Abbey Road was a bit weird in parts.
PS - I spent most of my teenage years listening to nothing but classical music. Everything from baroque to stockhausen and ligeti.
In particular, I stayed away from almost all 80s pop music with a vengeance. But now that I'm older and wiser I'm more willing to experiment.
