....buy a Pioneer DV-563a for around $100 (or less) used in good condition. Buy the Zap Filter MKII. The Pioneer 563 is a true DSD player (since you insist on that) and it has a very nice DAC for the Stereo outputs made by Burr-Brown (DSD1791) which has balanced (differential) outputs. Locate the DAC on the long board where the outputs are (on the back). Locate R231, R234 (balanced Left channel) and R238, R242 (balanced Right channel) and remove them. Then connect the balanced inputs of the Zap Filter to the pads which are closer to the DAC (the DAC outputs). Configure the Zap Filter for Balanced operation.This configuration will be "true" balanced and also fits your budget. :) I bet it will sound good too.
