The monkeys must be coming out of my butt right now. Saying Philips supports SACD is like saying Saddam Hussein supports women's rights. They completely destroyed their reputation in the eyes of the audio-educated consumer (i.e., the ones most likely to migrate to SACD given the overall nature of the SACD catalog) by the SACD-1000 debacle. Philips should give up on high end audio and apply their wonderfully consistent technology to AEDs. Oh wait, that is exactly what they are doing. Everyone pray you never have a heart attack near a Philips device....
