I have used a technique for isolating various components that might work as well for a disc player as well as any other electronics. One can purchase, for a dollar or less each, from gift shops, party supply stores, etc., a small balloon partially filled with sand. These are inert, flexible, inexpensive, and easy to conceal. They last as long as the balloon holds. I have four of them under each of my BAT VK-120 monoblocks, which in turn rest directly upon some very large outboard crossovers. Combined weight is appx 120 pounds, all held off the floor by four of these semi-filled sand balloons. Total cost: about $6.
