I contribute a LOT to this forum - and lbelieve it helps a lot of people! I've certainly had a lot more "thank you's" that complaints. But:
1/ I'm in business - and Upgrading is one of my key businesses.
2/ The last time I shared proprietry information with someone I (thought was a friend), he promptly put it into production and made a big noise on his website about his "breakthrough" research - so you'll excuse me if i'm a little tardy in "helping" someone I don't know.
3/ What we do to these machines has my highly expereinced technicians complaining about the very fine work needed to fit almost 20 tiny new surface mount components (through an epoxy protective layer) on an extremely tightly packed circuit board - and you say 'you are dangerous with a soldering iron.
Hence I consider that you do not have the experience to do the work I could suggest - and I'm not willing to leave myself open to further complaints if you blow up the player through your enthusiasm coupled with an admitted lack of the needed skill/experience.
