I stopped buying them after I bought the 1st Symphony. The recording makes wonderful use of MCH sound, and the opening movement is magical in the mood it creates with surround sound. But overall I found the performance bland, diffuse, and uninvolving. I had a hard time making it all the way through. I seem to be in a distinct minority in this opinion, as most rave about the performance. But if I had never heard any other performances, I probably would have liked it very much. I suggest you hear some others, and I'm sure people will give you many suggestions. I like the Solti with Chicago, Bernstein, and the Bruno Walter with the Columbia Symphony is quite good. These are just a few. As for other SACDs, I have heard any others, so I'll leave that to others.jsm
