Sir, I have own the SCD-1 along with other players, I have not only looked, I have dismantled and rebuilt.The factory fitted oscillator in the SCD-1 does and will exhibit a 45MHz signal. The SMD oscillator being a sealed unit does not stop waves being radiated and as soon as the 45MHz signal exits the oscillator and enters the S-TACT chip, the S-TACT will also radiate noise, along with every PCB trace which carries the 45MHz signal.
