Russell do you suppose Classic Records chose the 1954 performance because it made it's Living Stereo debut with their release? The original release was Mono and was not in Stereo until the Victrola reissue.I have never heard Munch's 1962 version and should also beat the performance by Jarvi as well as Munch was a master of French classical music.
