If you decide that you must have a pair of Audeze headphones you can always buy the LCD-2 for $1000 or less.
Hifiman has some excellent headphones models in the "under $1000" category.
Beyerdynamic T-90 might also be a good choice.
At the low-priced end of the scale I might recommend the AKG K550 or even the Phiaton Moderna (both are "sealed" style headphones, however...).
Oval-shaped headphones like the Phiation usually look smaller when mounted upon tiny heads such as yours. Because oval shapes more closely correspond to the shape of the "typical", oval-shaped human head (Charlie Brown roundheads need not apply here...), round headphones such as the AKG K550 will always look bigger when worn.
