I never listened to Ultrasone myself.
Actually, I'm new to headphones (I only have a pair of Sennheiser PX 200-II that I'm using to evaluate music on Amazon).
The reasons for asking about Ultrasone? Well, they look gorgeous and have metal earcups (I listened to some Audio-Technica, nice sounding but the wooden cups would just provoke a loud thump in my years if accidentally knocked, and any rubbing of the wires against the keyboard or desk would be transmitted into my ear channel - in short, they are a resonating chamber).
The new Audeze LCD-XC are way too expensive and... too large hor my head.
Of course, I could use other recommendations, so please be welcome to guide me.
Regards,
