If you decide that you must have a pair of Audeze headphones you can always buy the LCD-2 for $1000 or less.
Hifiman has some excellent headphones models in the "under $1000" category.
Beyerdynamic T-90 might also be a good choice.
At the low-priced end of the scale I might recommend the AKG K550 or even the Phiaton Moderna.
Oval-shaped headphones like the Phiation usually look smaller when mounted upon tiny heads such as yours. Because oval shapes more closely correspond to the shape of the "typical" human head (Charlie Brown heads need not apply here...), round headphones such as the AKG K550 will always look bigger when worn.
