RE: Misconception about SR009

Thanks for the clarifications, although I'm not sure that I would want to spend less than $4000 - $5000 on a top notch amp like the Blue Hawaii when the headphones themselves cost upwards of $5000. It would seem shameful to do otherwise with such wonderful headphones...

I usually try to spend at least as much on amplification as I do on speakers or headphones, as it usually does make a noticeable difference. Sure, I might save $2000 or more by buying an inferior amp or a Chinese one but I prefer to not go down that road whenever possible.
