RE: Best Monitor headphones for $100 or less?!

I'd agree with Vinyl Survivor and others - the A-T 50 is a very nice phone. The Sony 7506 had reasonable comfort and good isolation in my "test", but the sound wasn't up to the price point. Also check out the Shure 440, which I bought last week for 99 bucks. For an open-back, the AKG K240 still can't be beat at $99 - great sound and outstanding comfort, although you have to have some robust signal level if you want to play them loud.
