As you can see, it's detecting the bit depth correctly.Now, Frank, I'm sure you're going to have something to either explain this away, or say it doesn't matter. But this is simply a fact at this point.
I'd like to see you or ZSKEKL come by and somehow wave this flag as a victory for DVD-A.
These are 16 bit LPCM DVD-V discs. Not DVD-A. Not Hi-Rez. Not 24 bit.
So much for Sony's conversion to DVD-A.
If you want to refute this, buy the discs and decode them yourself. Second hand info from some guy on another board obviously didn't serve as a fact here.
