Crystal Cable Minissimo Forte Loudspeaker

Hi, just got the latest Absolute Sound. On review was Crystal Cable's Minissimo Forte Loudspeaker. Their cost is 24 grande. The woofer is a 5.5 inch Scanspeak woofer and a Scanspeak tweeter. The stated response is 48hz to 38 kHz, plus or minus 3db. The reviewer states that with a Dayton Aufio OmniMic V2 they were flat to 25 hz. The reviewer Andrew Quint said that a sub woofer was not a necessity and your friends may wonder where one is hidden. Absolute Sound does not state many measurements. My question is how can a 5.5 inch woofer that is flat to 25 hz reproduce all the other frequencies above that, say an orgestra's lower octaves instruments correctly without inducing a lot of TID, transient inter modulation distortion? I know Scanspeak drivers are about the best but maybe someone can explain this to me.Thanks, Mark Korda
