Actually CJL, RCA (and I believe GE also) never produced a 6922. They relabeled other makers tubes, mostly Amperex and Siemens. They can often be found at a discount to those brands. If you find a gold pin RCA 6922 at a bargain price, grab it!

I found the new Gold Lion 6922 tube to be quite good.
