What sort of machine/bias are you running it at? My application isn't too critical, but I would like to make sure it's not way off.

Machines (2) are Otari MX5050 BII . Bias was set for Maxell UD last time it was changed. Since I use every kind of tape known to man, I haven't messed with bias changes. I know I should but life's too short :-)
there is a seller on ebay who has NOS pancakes of 631 or 632 pretty reasonably priced. may want to check that out.

Type 631 is 1.5mil voice-grade tape (185 nW/m) and 632 is LNHO duplicating tape (whatever that is), also 185 nW/m. This from the Ampex tape list compiled by Scott Dorsey.
