You are being unreasonable.
What else can the seller do?
You need to look at this from both sides, which if you have never sold on eBay you may not be able to do. So, let me give you an example of some of the crap buyer's pull.
I collect antique fishing reels and sometimes sell the ones I no longer need. I once sold one to a guy that was in perfect working order. He got it and said it did not work, so I had him return it for a full refund. When I got the reel back, sure enough it did not work ...because the buyer had taken all of the gears out of the inside of the reel.
So, your seller may be sitting there wondering why her deck suddenly does not work when it was fine when she had it. For all she knows you could have taken the parts you needed out of it.
Now, I am not for one minute suggesting that is the case ...but benefit of the doubt is a two way street. She's trusting you ...so trust her. If you send it back and get a refund she deserves positive feedback or no feedback. But, she did nothing to deserve a negative or a neutral.

I am fully aware of what you're talking about. If I am that kind of buyer, then I should have left a lot of negative feedback to a lot of sellers, but I can prove that is not the case.
My ebay id is hyok2006, 100%, and left only one negative feedback in 5 years out of 260 transactions, that loser a few month ago. So, no, I am not in habit of leaving negative feedback.

How do you know she didn't knowingly sell DAO deck?

You are seeing this from your side only and refuse to believe she could have sent a perfectly working deck. Unless you have proof the deck was DOA when it left her house, return it, get your refund, leave positive or no feedback and move on.

I already had stated on 08/04/2011, I was going to giver her benefit of doubt, and leave no feedback before you even posted.
"..... if it bothers you that you feel she was knowingly sold you something DOA then I think you have to give her the benefit of the doubt and then just don't leave a feedback." - CPK
That is good reasoning, thanks, that's what I am going to do, just leave no feedback.

I missed that post and apologize. I thought I had read them all.

I used to be though......when I was young and stupid.
