Been doing a lot of research and travelling/listening to different gear around the area.
Narrowed down my search to either the Lumin U2 or the HiFi Rose 130.
Another network player caught my eye but will probably find its way into my office system...the Cayin iDap-8.

Well, the HiFi Rose 130 seems out. No dealers in the country and no direct sells via the Internet in the country. HiFi Rose suggested buying it from another country and having it shipped. Nah, I'll pass on that.
After further investigation the Lumin U2 as well as the Luxman are a no-go due to no Wi-Fi.
The search continues.

Have you considered the Eversolo DMP-A8? It has a huge following and I finally jumped on board about a month ago. Under $2000 USD and available from Amazon and others.

I briefly looked at the Eversolo but its Android based and I'd prefer something Linux based. Not being able to upgrade the OS might not be an issue, but my top pick for an Android based streamer would be the Cayin. I have experience with Cayin products being an owner of their top DAP the Cayin N8ii and their entry level DAP the Cayin N3Pro.
Also I'm looking for a network Player without the built in Dac, I have a Luxman DA-07x on order which should be here next month.
