You mean AEB systems, lane keeper, active cruise control etc?
Avoiding accident damage completely isn't an altogether bad idea!
BTW, My Skoda is still waiting for the gearbox part to show up and my hire car for hit up the are by a huge BMW X6 "super coupe".
Luckily his AEB cut in reducing the impact. My VW Tiguan is still drivable with only bumper bar damage.
