You can get ground turmeric in just about any grocery store, but it's not something you want to eat as part of every meal, unless you're into Indian food. Capsules are a lot more user friendly.
Follow Ups:
Are there specific brands, dose or concoctions you take? For awhile I was taking Turmeric and mixing it with ginger or cinnamon to make it palpable using it in my meals. That had limited success as it wasn't practical every day.
While not a show stopper yet the arthritis in my wrists and elbow is more noticeable and the effects of a childhood hip dislocation can get to me if I push too hard.

I take a 500mg capsule with every meal. It's more effective if taken with black pepper, which is OK with me as I have black pepper as part of most meals. If you don't have black pepper as a regular part of your diet get capsules that combine turmeric with piperine/bioperine, but you should have black pepper as part of your diet as it's also an anti-inflammatory. I buy whatever is the most economical, which is usually Puritans Pride.
Thanks, just a coincidence I'm sure but I had the Puritans pride web page up.
I was just adding to the list of available sources. Indian food is fine except for the ghi. I agree about capsules being quicker and maintance free to ingest.
