I like it authentic virtuosity of Mr. Tony Iordache cymbalion playing !
Suggest you to search music of Gypsy band from Romania named` Taraf De Haidouks` ,
Those Gypsy guys was invited to play at home ( or wedding day , not 100% sure) of famous movie actor
Johny Deep !
All the Best !!!

I often play it for folks who need to hear what 3 cimbaloms, 3
accordians, and 4 violins sound like together. When I play it for
musicians they start muttering about time signatures and counting on
their fingers. For me, though, the best is Fanfare Ciocarlia; they
remind me of old Bennie Moten Orchestra, which turned into, of course,
the Count Basie Orchestra. Fanfare is touring North America and will
be playing Manhattan next month; two of my daughters live in Manhattan
and will be attending under parental edict. I'm also enamoured with
the Kocani Orkestra and that all time champion of the Guca Trumpet
Festival, Boban Markovic. Regards,
J.R.
Gypsy Fanfare Ciocarlia is Incredible Music band ! I can clearly hear in their music performance that well known Balkan sound , it is mix of many traditional Balkan sound + Orient , but those guys always plays that music in their very Original way .
More incredible is that Gypsy musician have never studied any of music school , most of them are even illiterate ! Think that is the point where they confuse other schooled musicians .
Wish you good music party on Manhattan next month !
BTW
Here is link to one pure Romanian traditional musician , Mr. Luca Novac .
He play one original instrument -Taragot- , this music come from old Banat

It is very interesting to see & hear the rap music artists which is influenced with authentic Balkan sound !
I think that this modern information times allow to people from all over the world to communicate and exchange ideas & music and many other good things , before 20 or more years that`s was very hard for ordinary people .
Here is the link to one of my favorite female Gypsy music singer Mrs.Olivera Katarina , she was not the Gypsy , but her voice & singing was legendary here in Europa .

The Ottoman empire ruled the Balkans for over 800 years so their
influence throughout the Gypsy diaspora is pervasive, like, for example,
with the Gypsy brass bands of Serbia, Romania, and Macedonia. Here's
a special treat: the legendary Lebanese singer, Tony Hanna, with the
Yugoslavian Gypsy Brass band doing a reggae tune with even a rasta
toaster. Ya gotta love this stuff. Jah Rastafai!
J.R.
Yes the Ottoman empire was here as ruler for many century backwards , so the Near East region influence is obvious on Balkan everywhere , not only in music style , but in many people lifestyle too .
Many thanks for Tony Hana & YU Gypsy brass band tune ! I enjoyed !
But I must admit to you that I personally have stop to active listen any sort of Etno music long time ago , maybe 30 years ago or so .
Any way here is the one of mine favorite original old tune from Mr.Saban Bajramovic , the tune title is : Pitao sam malog Puza - da mi svoju kucu proda....., Roughly translated is : I was ask one little snail to somehow sold me his little house ........
Best Regards !
