That tracking test on the HFN&RR disc is recorded at 300Hz - sibilants are generally in the 2-10kHz range.
Try adjusting antiskate force (decreasing AS will increase the force on the left channel, increasing AS will increase force on right channel) and/or try increasing VTF.BTW, I only have the CD of that Holly Cole recording - the treble is a bit 'hot' and prone to some excess sibilance (though obviously not mistracking or pulling to one channel in this case).
