Stefan Tovarich, have you done any mods (solderingg)to the unit prior to the burn up ? If you have, start by checking for solder bridges in that area.
Tweekeng's right : without a schematic (and a parts placement diagram) you're flying blind. You obviously have a short somewhere in front of the first part you let the smoke out of, and when a part looks burnt you have an almighty short in front of that part. Scan back in this month's postings 'til you come to my post Re. "The Fuse Saver". It'll take part of an evening to build one and then you won't be letting the smoke out of any more parts. While you're waiting for the good fairy to deliver your schematic & parts placement diagram start by powering up the amp (we NEVER say "fire it up"; but then, you've done that already). See if you can visually locate the last bad part in the bad channel and that part in the channel that's working and begin working backwards checking voltages in both channels. You may get lucky and find that some of the parts in front of the first burnt part still have a voltage applied to them. If they do record that voltage and compare it to the same part in the good channel.
