I could not get an acceptable painted gloss finish on the "Lens Clones" that I had completely assembled.

If I were to build another set I'd paint the tubes and base before assembly.

Or you could finish them with FleckStone© textured finish as I did. They look great but it adds a bit more to the bottom line
