I have been reading about the benifits of high end duplex outlets. I had several $13 outlets from Home Depot that I thougth that might be improved by some modifications.
I removed the steel strap from the back.
Epoxied the outlets to an aluminum face.
The transformer is wired to provide balance power.
The perceived results – more musical, better bass, clearer and better all around. It was a good enough tweak that I have done nothing since installing it(2 months).
I would be interested in comments and suggestion on how to improve this setup.
I am thinking of adding a 193L choke and high feq cap.
