Hi.
I replaced all those crappie non-polar 'lytic caps in my old KEF speaker systems with PP film caps of the SAME capacitance but higher voltage rating.
To accommodate the much much larger sizes of the new film caps, I had to rebuid the entire network on a much larger PCB.
Mind you any new caps need to be thoroughly break-in to get back the old
"warm" sound you prefer which could be a form of distortion.
