You use this Inside the piece?

That's what I use for interconnects.  It used to be CAT5P conductor, but now I use five-nines silver in Teflon.  It seems to be maybe a little more visceral sounding than the SPC, but it's real close.  In either case, I have zero problem with IF pickup.

For me, it's heuristic knowledge; when I went from single runs of 22ga. (stranded) SPC in teflon to shielded in polyprop, the sound improved quite noticeably, so I've just kept doing it.  It might be an interference-rich environment inside the chassis.  Maybe now that I'm putting the PS in a different box I don't need to do it; I might try it.

When you do this, you ground one end of the 'neut' run, like with a shielded wire?
