There is absolutely no way they could cause the system to sound bright. They cannot boost the high end. Cables can only be flat or attenuating in their response in the audio band.
If your system sounds bright, it is due to something other than the cables. Flat response can sound bright to many. Bright recordings are usually the culprit, not the system components.
Also your lengths are very short anyway.doggy
