I guess my main concern was keeping outside factors away from a turntable/cd player.I know with hardwood floors on 2x12 fir floor joist, a surprising amount of vibration is transmitted to any table or stand upon it.
I was thinking that divorcing the stand from the floor (or trying to) would be a benefit.
Now you mention Isolation within the stand itself. Hmmmmmmm......
I guess shelf supports that separated said shelves from the stand would work in that case, right?
