well, IR silicon schottky is not cheaper than CREE. I believe there is 30% of difference.
On hificollective advise me about to use the IR 10CTQ150 (10amperes, 150 volts) and assure me that it is the best for this use. They also are in the 300B kits bussines, so I believe they know what are talking.
There are folks that claims that CREE silicon carbide shottky are the best for tubes on this forum also.
Fortunnelly I can get here, on RS-Chile the IR, but CREE I need to import from Canada (partsconnexion, still with shipping, maybe are cheaper than the IR).
What are you refering, exactly, with " so make sure the output voltage is not too high"?
