I have one fro the sources and pre and one for the power amps. Get 'quiet' breakers - ELB + draw.
The best place for a small trannie-based filter is your turntable with a lamp attached to warm the cart and vinyl! then on the CDP, an isloating trannie is best there, and only THEN on the pre-amp.
