Just to echo the other posters. The ARC tubes are no doubt excellent. For years I would only buy power valves directly from ARC since I was worried about failures and amp damage. I had this happen once with non-ARC power tubes.But this was many years ago and new production tube quality has improved dramatically, especially the Russian valves. I would avoid Chinese produced valves for ARC amps. This is a recipe for disaster IMO.
I now buy all my power valves from Jim McShane. Always as described, well tested and matched, and never a problem with the valves he supplies.
