I prefer Telefunken that are branded as Fisher/or other brand. They are the same tube but cost less due to not having the Tele logo. The smooth plates cost more than the ribbed but are still a good find. Stay away from the winged C 12ax7 variant. Many US 50's are great tubes and very affordable. The Mullard CV4004 are abundant but over priced, stay away. Try Brent Jesse or Doug's Tubes.KY Colonel
