Can anyone here tell me in plain language what the differences between an EL34 and a 6CA7 are?My friend has a Jolida integrated amp and one of his EH 6CA7s is making noises. Which of these two tube types would be the better to use, for natural sounding musical reproduction? Or perhaps what's the pluses and minuses of each type is a better question.
