I do not know exactly when the factory stopped its production, but I suppose that it was towards 1980 or 1981, because I own tubes whose dates spread out between 1961 and 1980, but nothing after 1980 !I believe that they always had their own codes, if I judge by the oldest tubes which I own (1961).
The tubes which I own all carry a marking of certification to the French standards, in the shape of a triangle with the point always at the bottom.
Inside this triangle, there is : NF and below in small letters : UTE or LCIE according to the case.
NF means “Normes Françaises " ( French Standards ), UTE means" Union Technique de l'Electricité " (Technical Union of Electricity),and LCIE "Laboratoire Central des Industries Electriques“ (Central Laboratory of Electric Industries). This marking certifies that the tube did comply with the French standards.
Therefore if it is present on your tubes, this is an additional proof that they were made in France.Nevertheless some of old tubes (between 1961 and 1968) have another mark of certification, in the shape of a trapezoid with an unknown sign inside.
The FRS marking is present on all the types of tubes which I have.
