I just purchased a pair of 7308 tubes supposedly made by La Radiotechnique for RTF [Radio-Television-FranÃ§aise] and am a bit confused about the etched codes and hope someone who actually knows something about tubes can help me out.
The etched codes are the same on both tubes - 7308.FRS.67464
I expected a Phillips code starting with VR - as I thought La Radiotechnique was part of the Phillips group.
So if these were outsourced, can anybody suggest who might have made them and etched those codes in the glass?
