I use an ST 70 Series II produced in the early 90's. It has been very dependable and sounds excellent, though I did replace the stock signal caps with MIT's to bring it to it's current performance. It uses fiberglass boards, carbon film and metal film resistors and has SS rectification. It has very easy bias controls also.
