Yes, unfortunately it does -at the moment anyway. I could modify it. The cathode/heater potential of the final cathode followers is about 150 volts. Higher than the 5814's max of 100, but lower than the 12AU7's max of 200.Other than cathode followers, SRPP type circuits may also stress this value. Elevating the heaters will solve this in my case, but for other circuits, say an SRPP, the 5814's 100v max may likely still be exceeded. It's low allowance makes it a poor choice for these circuits. Same for 12AT7's by the way. They can take about only 90volts, even less than the 5814.
