There are a number of tubes with similar ratings: 5963 also comes to mind. That being said, although the books list potentially dangerous ratings, I have never had a 5814 fail when subbed for a 12AU7 in many conditions exceeding the 100 volt heater to cathode ratings. I suppose there may be a few makes which will not tolerate such differences, but I haven't come across one yet.
I am assuming the similarity to the 12AU7 caused many manufacturers to simply slightly modify the characteristics of their common AU7's to comply with the needs for the 5814.Stu
