I just picked up an old Sansui mono tube amp and would appreciate opinions or info. There is no model # or serial # that I can find and it doesn't have a nameplate but it has 3 Sansui transformers. I connected it to a variac and brought up power slowly and it works very well. It has 2 6V6 tubes, 1 12ax7, and 1 black plug-in tubelike rectifier. It has an rca input and speaker wire connections, an on/off toggle switch and a removable power cord as well as an ac socket. Anybody seen anything like this? I'm wondering if it might have been a kit? Thanks in advance for any help.
