Re: Cherry plate KT90 and amp damage

Cherry ain't so bad. It's that white-orange close to melt down that I fear :-)

Seriously though, often when a tube fails and draws high current (hence the glow) then it often takes the bias resistor/network with it. It's not expensive to fix usually, often just a single resistor.
